Kaye Awarded £4m for Construction Injuries

Christopher Kaye from Barnsley, South Yorkshire has been awarded more than £4m for injuries he sustained on a construction site in October 2008. Kaye suffered catastrophic head injuries after changing a grapple attachment on a digger, an injury which his defence put down to a lack of training and no written instructions.
Kaye underwent life-saving surgery immediately after sustaining his injury, however despite the best efforts of his doctor’s Kaye was left needing round-the-clock care for the rest of his life.
Kaye’s claim was pursued on behalf of him by his wife, Sue against his former employers, Euro Dismantling Services Ltd.
